About me

Kathleen Kez City Councilor

A true Westmounter, I attended Roslyn School and Westmount High School. I have lived on Dorchester Boulevard across from the Tupper parking lots for over 35 years.

I hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Concordia University and a diploma in Accounting from McGill University.

After spending 10 years in France, I returned to Westmount with my two children to live in the community I love, and it's a decision I've never regretted. My children, Nicolas and Chloé, grew up and thrived here. They were both very active in the community and served as Westmount camp counselors for years.

I own my own business which provides accounting and tax preparation services to both individuals and small businesses.

I volunteer with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) tax program, which provides tax services to low-income individuals and families.  I am also a volunteer at Resilience Montreal day shelter.

For the past eight years, I have served as a member of City Council representing the interests of District 8.  During my first term I was appointed Commissioner of Finance, and in my second term, I served as Commissioner Public Security.  I have been a member of the Finance and Administration Committee and the Transportation Advisory Committee (TAC). https://westmount.org/en/city/municipal-life/mayors-office-and-city-council

I am excited about the next four years and hope you will support me and give me the opportunity to continue my work to make District 8 an even better place to live!
